Setup & Configuration
Echo Role
Echo Role lets members assign themselves a Discord role by pressing a button InfiniTea renders beneath your message. The app re-posts the message you target and attaches the configured buttons, so keep that repost short—something like “Select a role below”.
Configuration
- Preview – Displays how the button will look for the selected role, including optional emoji and label overrides.
- Button Color – Choose from the Discord button styles (Secondary, Primary, Success, Danger).
- Emoji – Pick a Unicode or server emoji to prefix the button label. Search or browse by category to find the right fit.
- Label – Provide custom button text. If left blank, the role name is used.
- Reset – Revert a role back to its default styling in a single click.
Use the search and filter controls to jump between configured overrides and roles still using defaults.
Creating Buttons
- In Discord, right-click the message that should host the buttons.
- Select Apps → Echo Role.
- Follow the prompts to add one or more roles to the message.
Members can now press the button to receive—or remove, if configured as a toggle—the associated role instantly.
