Info Book

Create a searchable knowledge base for your server. Organize content into categories and subcategories; control visibility with roles.

How it works

  • Categories: Top-level topics (e.g., Rules, Events, Onboarding).
  • Subcategories: Nested pages under a category (e.g., Rules → Posting, Events → Weekly Schedule).
  • Role-gated content: Hide sensitive details behind specific roles so only intended members can view.

Accessing Info Book

  • Slash commands: /info <category> or /info <category> <sub_category>
  • Context: Link Info Book pages where appropriate in announcements or onboarding flows.

Examples & use cases

  • Schedules: Weekly events, raid times, or meeting calendars.
  • Staff hierarchy: Who does what, and how to contact them.
  • Release notes/dates: Project or game updates and timelines.
  • Onboarding: Getting started guides for new members.
  • Policies: Rules, moderation guidelines, and escalation paths.

  • Keep titles short and descriptive for better search.
  • Use role-gating for staff-only procedures or sensitive data.
