How It WorksFor Server Staff
Info Book
Create a searchable knowledge base for your server. Organize content into categories and subcategories; control visibility with roles.
How it works
- Categories: Top-level topics (e.g., Rules, Events, Onboarding).
- Subcategories: Nested pages under a category (e.g., Rules → Posting, Events → Weekly Schedule).
- Role-gated content: Hide sensitive details behind specific roles so only intended members can view.
Accessing Info Book
- Slash commands:
/info <category>or/info <category> <sub_category> - Context: Link Info Book pages where appropriate in announcements or onboarding flows.
Examples & use cases
- Schedules: Weekly events, raid times, or meeting calendars.
- Staff hierarchy: Who does what, and how to contact them.
- Release notes/dates: Project or game updates and timelines.
- Onboarding: Getting started guides for new members.
- Policies: Rules, moderation guidelines, and escalation paths.
Tips
- Keep titles short and descriptive for better search.
- Use role-gating for staff-only procedures or sensitive data.
- Review regularly to keep information current.
